Your 11-Day ITINERARY

Day 1: Transfer To Masai Mara National Reserve

Departing from Nairobi in the morning, you will embark on a scenic journey southward through the Great Rift Valley. A delightful picnic lunch awaits you at Narok. Continuing the journey, you will reach the Mara in the afternoon for an exhilarating game drive. The Masai Mara is renowned for its remarkable sightings of big cats, particularly during the annual wildebeest migration. Subsequently, you will proceed to your camp for the evening.

Day 2: Game Drive at Masai Mara National Reserve

Following breakfast, you'll depart from the camp or lodge, equipped with a picnic lunch, to further explore the park and its diverse attractions. Renowned as the seventh Wonder of the World, the Masai Mara promises a wealth of natural wonders. A visit to the Mara River offers sightings of hippos and crocodiles. Indulge in a picnic lunch within the reserve before continuing with an afternoon game drive. Your dinner and overnight accommodation await you at Lenchada Tourist Camp.

Day 3: Masai Mara To Lake Nakuru National Park

In the morning, you'll embark on a pre-breakfast game drive from 6:30 am to 8:30 am, immersing yourself in the wilderness before returning to the camp for breakfast and checkout. The journey to Lake Nakuru will commence, with a lunch stop scheduled at Narok. Later in the afternoon, you'll arrive at Nakuru for dinner and an overnight stay at Lanet Matfam. Note: As you'll pass Naivasha en route to Nakuru, an optional boat safari at Naivasha can be incorporated into your itinerary on this day. Please notify US if you're interested in this addition.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Arusha via Nairobi

Following breakfast, embark on a captivating game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned worldwide for its vast flocks of flamingos, earning it the nickname "Pink Lake". Besides its avian inhabitants, the park offers glimpses of small game such as waterbuck, impala, rhino, and buffalo in its verdant surroundings. After lunch, depart for Nairobi, aiming to arrive in time to catch your shuttle for the journey to Arusha. Anticipate reaching Arusha in the evening for check in, dinner and the overnight.

Day 5: Tarangire National Park

You will set off for Tarangire National Park where your inaugural safari experience begins with an exhilarating game drive across the expanses of Tarangire National Park, accompanied by your packed lunch. Delight in an afternoon game drive within the park, punctuated by a picnic lunch at the designated site.

Day 6: Tarangire National Park to Serengetti National Park

Following breakfast, indulge in a game drive en-route to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro. Here, you'll encounter the most renowned wildlife sanctuary globally—the Serengeti National Park. The term 'Serengeti' translates to 'endless plains,' aptly describing the park's vast 5,600 square mile expanse. Despite its sprawling territory, the Serengeti abounds in rich game viewing opportunities. Every year, from May to December, millions of animals partake in a migration spectacle from Central Serengeti to Kenya's Masai Mara and back, creating an awe-inspiring natural phenomenon. Even during quieter periods, vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle roam the plains, accompanied by groups of elephant, giraffe, and buffalo. You'll immerse yourself in a full-day game drive within Serengeti National Park, accompanied by a packed lunch, extending until late evening. Following this exhilarating exploration, you'll return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay. Serengeti consistently lives up to its reputation for abundant game viewing. Annually, from May to December, the park hosts a breathtaking migration, where millions of animals traverse from Central Serengeti to Kenya's Masai Mara and back again. Even during quieter times, the plains are teeming with vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle, alongside groups of elephant, giraffe, and buffalo. You'll begin your day with an early breakfast, descent into the crater for an extensive 6-7 hour game drive. Amidst this captivating exploration, you'll savor a picnic lunch. The Ngorongoro Crater boasts exceptional game viewing throughout the year. Its abundant wildlife forms a permanent population due to ample grazing and water sources available in all seasons. Following your memorable crater experience, you'll embark on an afternoon drive to Nsya Campsite, where dinner and overnight accommodations await.

Day 10: Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara National Park

Today's itinerary includes a visit to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its diversity within its small size. A picnic lunch amidst this picturesque scenery awaits, offering views of open grasslands, hot springs, and dense woodlands. Bird enthusiasts will delight in the park's abundant birdlife, while the elusive tree-climbing lions add to its charm. The day concludes with a drive back to Arusha for an overnight stay at The Charity Hotel, marking the end of the safari.

Day 11: Departure From Arusha To Nairobi

Following breakfast, you'll commence your journey back to Nairobi aboard a morning shuttle bus.
