Reservations & Payments

Reservations require a 30% deposit and full payment for gorilla and chimp tracking permits. Full payment is due 6 weeks before departure. Failure to deliver complete payment at least 60 days prior to departure will be considered cancellation by default and is subject to cancellation charges.

Changing Tours

Any changes made less than 60 days prior to departure are subject to cancellation fees.

Cancellation Policy

• 61+ days: 20% fee
• 46-60 days: 40% fee
• 31-45 days: 60% fee
• 0-30 days: 100% fee

Gorilla & Chimp Permit Terms

Gorilla Permits require a deposit of $500 per permit. Chimpanzee Tracking Permits require a deposit of $150. Cancellation fees apply based on the tracking date.

Group Departures

Minimum of 2 clients required for group departures. If the number is not met, you may opt for a private tour at additional cost or receive a full deposit refund.

Claims & Refunds

Refunds are not made for any missed services unless verifiable extenuating circumstances exist. Claims must be received in writing within 30 days of tour termination.

Accommodations

We reserve quality accommodations, but substitutions may be made based on availability. Single travelers may be subject to additional fees.

Photography

We reserve the right to use tour images for promotional purposes unless a participant requests otherwise.

Medical Requirements

Participants must be in good health. Travel insurance is mandatory, and medical conditions must be disclosed prior to travel.

Limits of Responsibility

We are not liable for third-party service issues, natural disasters, or unforeseen circumstances.

Primate Tracking

Participants must be in good health. No refunds will be given if tracking is denied due to illness or if primates are not seen.

Traveler’s Responsibilities

Participants must follow safety guidelines, respect local customs, and comply with trip itineraries.
